Never stop

#MCM Eric Kelley II's loves doing it all. He is a stylist, content creator and wedding DJ! Check out his men's fashion blog Urbnwood (theurbnwood.com) and interview with us below:

1. What's your story? What makes you unique?

My story is that I'm aspiring to be an inspiring influencer, stylist and blogger! I fell on some hard times and blogging about my unique style has refocused my energy and gotten me through a few tribulations.

2. What motivates you?

Looking great and feeling even better motivates! I love having a personal style and looking my best pushes me to do my best always.

3. What's one of the coolest things you've ever done?

One the coolest things I've ever done is visit Hitsville USA in Detroit. The rich history of Motown is something that sticks with you for forever!

4. Give us a road map of your career. How did you get to where you are today?

My career started with having nothing to do and watching Gossip Girl. The concept of having a blog that influenced the world of others was totally intriguing! I put my own spin of thoughts and desires and create my own men's fashion blog: Urbnwood (theurbnwood.com)

5. What's your future plan? Your goals?

My future plans are to become a notorious stylist but also an infamous radio personality. I always saw my blog as a stepping stone to lead into other paths for me! I've never been the person to settle on doing just one thing. I like doing multiple things because that's just who I am. In that is my goal as well!

6. If you could give one piece of advice, what would it be?

Never stop! Doesn't matter how slow or fast your process is or what external factors may try to break you; never stop. I would rather be the guy that said "Thank God I tried my best!" than the guy that says "God, what if?"

7. What is something you feel strongly about (a cause, belief, etc.)?

I feel really strongly about being treated as equals no matter how or what you represent. I'm a gay man and in this day and age there have been a ton of strides made towards more equality for homosexuals but there still is a lot more work to be done. Even to the bare minimum of just respecting another person as they walk pass. Simply, treat others the way you want to be treated! That golden rule should never be broken.

8. Who is a hero of yours?

My hero is my mother! I know how cliche that sounds but she's truly inspirational to me. The way she carries herself and the standards she sets for herself are phenomenal! She's the reasons why I try so hard to be the greatest Eric I can be.

9. Anything we haven't asked that you'd like to talk about.

Only make sure you guys go check my blog at theurbnwood.com ! You'll definitely enjoy it!
