We asked Ryan what some of the best parts of his job were,
“What I love most about recruiting is I'm able to leverage all of my interests in helping people. I’m also able to be creative when working with big events.”
It is crucial to have a connection between a recruiter and a young professional looking for a job, Ryan reminded us of how important it is to prepare for interviews and feel connected to your application.
Our Takeaways from Carty:
1. Do 15-30 minute informational interviews to expand your network with professionals.
2. Think digital first. Invest in LinkedIn Premium and develop a strong online presence.
3. A job description is your cheat sheet, so tailor your experience to the description.
4. Expand your services to others and be impeccable with your word.
