TGIM Interview with Jack Sock, Professional Tennis Player

On this week's latest episode of TGIM, The Dean's List welcomes Jack Sock to the virtual stage.

Monday night's TGIM episode featured Jack Sock, a Nebraska born living his dream as a professional tennis player.

A four-time grand slam champ and two-time Olympic medalist, Sock started playing tennis at age eight and shares the sport's love with his brother Eric.

Jack shared his passion for giving back and provided so many useful pieces of advice.

He recalls one of his exciting tennis memories was when he was featured on ESPN for the first time and playing his childhood hero, Andy Roddick, at the biggest stadium in tennis.

Jack offers some positive advice and says, "Maximize every day. Keep your faith. Pray about things, and keep your head up as much as possible. As hard as it is sometimes, stay as positive as you can."

Our takeaways from Jack:

1. Keep an open mind. Any opportunity you get is what you make of it.

2. Some of the biggest "storms" in your life will bring a new perspective and a positive outlook.

3. Expand your wisdom and be coachable. Learn from those who have experienced and know more than you.

Thank you, Jack Sock, for another empowering week of TGIM! See you next week at 6:00 pm.
